About SAI AGRO BRAZIL LTDA

A Brazilian Agro‑Industrial Partner for the World

SAI AGRO BRAZIL LTDA is a registered Brazilian agro‑industrial company (CNPJ 11.962.093/0001‑51) established on May 4 2010 and headquartered in Cotegipe, Bahia. The company operates as a limited liability corporation (“Sociedade Empresária Limitada”), providing services ranging from land preparation and cultivation to harvesting and warehousing. With roots in Brazil’s agricultural heartland and a capital base that supports our activities, SAI AGRO BRAZIL has grown beyond a local service provider to become a global supplier of agricultural commodities and food products.

Chickens

Anchored in the World’s Breadbasket

Brazil is the world’s largest producer of coffee, sugar cane and oranges, and one of the largest producers of soybeans (nearly 40 % of global output and 55 % of exports). It also leads global exports of soybeans (56 %), corn (31 %), sugar (44 %), beef (24 %) and chicken meat (33 %). Brazil’s sugar sector alone shipped more than 38.24 million tonnes of sugar to around 156 countries in 2024, making it the world’s largest producer and exporter. These national strengths provide the foundation for SAI AGRO BRAZIL’s operations and allow the company to source high‑quality agricultural products that meet international demand.

Comprehensive Product Portfolio

SAI AGRO BRAZIL’s business encompasses the farming, processing and export of:

  • Grains and seeds: Non‑GMO and GMO soybeans, corn (yellow and white), wheat, rice, beans and related products. Brazil’s corn production rebounded to 127 million tonnes in 2024‑25, enabling record exports.
  • Edible oils: Corn, sunflower, olive, canola, soy and palm oils. Brazil’s oilseed industry underpins the country’s position as the world’s third‑largest biodiesel producer.
  • Meat products: Frozen bovine, ovine, porcine and poultry cuts. Brazil is the world’s leading exporter and producer of halal‑certified beef and chicken meats.
  • Sugar: Refined and raw sugar (ICUMSA 45, 150 and 600‑1200). Brazil remains the largest producer and exporter, with top importers including Indonesia, India and China.

Our integrated supply model combines our own agricultural operations with a network of certified partner companies. Together we manage the full chain—from soil preparation through post‑harvest storage and logistics—ensuring traceability and consistent quality.

Global Market Focus

SAI AGRO BRAZIL serves buyers across Africa, the Middle East, Asia and Europe. Brazil’s Ministry of Agriculture has noted that while China remains Brazil’s largest agricultural buyer, Islamic countries are an important growth frontier: the 57‑member Organization of Islamic Cooperation imported $190.5 billion in food in 2020, of which Brazil supplied about $14.1 billion (7.5 %). We work closely with agents and government‑approved distributors in Turkey, Iran, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh and other markets, while maintaining strong relationships with African and European customers.

Commitment to Quality and Compliance

As a Brazilian company operating in regulated industries, SAI AGRO BRAZIL adheres to national and international standards:

  • We maintain compliance with Brazil’s agricultural service codes (CNAE 01.61‑0‑03 and 52.11‑7‑01) covering land preparation, cultivation, harvesting and general warehousing.
  • For meat exports, we work with slaughterhouses and processors that hold halal certification and meet the sanitary requirements of destination countries.
  • Our sugar shipments conform to ICUMSA colour standards and logistics guidelines, ensuring product safety and traceability.

Sustainable Growth and Responsibility

Brazil’s agricultural sector has expanded rapidly—grain output has risen from 47 million tonnes in 1977 to over 300 million tonnes today—but sustainability is critical. The World Bank notes that Brazil must shift toward productivity‑led growth and climate‑smart land use. In alignment with these goals, SAI AGRO BRAZIL invests in sustainable farming practices, soil conservation and responsible use of inputs. We are committed to reducing waste, promoting safe working conditions and supporting low‑carbon supply chains.

Experienced Leadership & Partnerships

Although we began as a regional agricultural service provider, our team today consists of agronomists, logistics specialists and export professionals with decades of combined experience. We collaborate with farmers, cooperatives, processors and logistics providers across Brazil to secure high‑quality products. Our management structure ensures accountability and transparency while enabling us to respond quickly to changing market conditions.
